RANSOMVILLE, NY – Race fans from all walks of life come together every year at Ransomville Speedway to give back to the United Way of Greater Niagara during the annual Labor Night at the Races. This year the Labor Night at the Races presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY and in conjunction with the AFL/CIO Niagara-Orleans Labor Council will take place on Friday, June 12 at the “Big R” with a rain date of June 19.
The 12th annual Labor Night race program will feature five divisions of racing, including the Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds, Investor’s Service Sportsman, Ki-Po Chevrolet Street Stocks, Stevenson’s Hardware Novice Sportsman and Vintage Cars.
“We are very proud to be working with Ransomville Speedway once again to host the Labor Night at the Races,” said Jim Briggs, President of the Niagara/Orleans Labor Council and sub-director of the United Steel Workers. “The facility provides us with a fun and unique way to raise money for the United Way.”
