OSWEGO, NY – ACME Racing will represent the Midwest Supermodified Series, the International Supermodified Association and Schaeffer’s Racing Oil at the 31st annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN on December 6-8.
The ACME Racing No. 19 Supermodified was once again piloted in 2018 by veteran open-wheel shoe, Trent Stephens, who won the inaugural Midwest Supermodified Series event held at Midvale (OH) Speedway on June 9.
Stephens, who also has three career wins on the ISMA Supermodified tour with the No. 19, finished 8th in the season-long ISMA point standings and 9th in the MSS standings, despite missing two races.
The Midwest Supermodified Series is coming off of a successful opening season which saw five events held across Ohio and Indiana with 26 different competitors in action. The season was highlighted by a return visit to Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, with Mike McVetta claiming the victory and the inaugural series championship.
Schaeffer’s Racing Oil products help competitors spend less resources on replacing parts and changing fluids and more time out on the track.
Designed for extreme performance, Schaeffer’s racing lubricants reduce friction, wear and heat – performance inhibitors that get in the way of finishing strong. During intense racing conditions, Schaeffer’s products deliver unmatched protection that lasts long after the final lap. Season after season, racers depend on Schaeffer’s racing products to keep their cars always ready for the next race.
