OSWEGO, NY – Arctic Snowplows, based in London, Ontario, has signed on to back the International Supermodified Association for its 2019 season.
Arctic Snowplows is celebrating its 50th year of business. Since 1969, the roar of an orange Arctic snow plow has often meant the difference between shutting things down and keeping things moving.
Confronted with some of the harshest conditions on the planet, Arctic has been there to put winter where it belongs – on the side of the road. With decades of manufacturing experience, Arctic has earned a reputation for performance and durability.
“I had the opportunity to visit Arctic Equipment Manufacturing in January 2019. It was a great visit where Operations Manager Rick Lennox spent a considerable amount of his valuable time introducing me to Arctic Equipment Manufacturing,” recalled ISMA president Doc Hathaway.
Hathaway was highly impressed with Arctic Equipment Manufacturing, specifically the effort they go through to assure their snowplows, with their galvanized coatings, are coated not only on the exterior surfaces, but also on the inside virtually eliminating the possibility of rust attacking the surfaces and or structurally harming the plows.
“I left Arctic Equipment Manufacturing convinced these guys know their business,” he said. “If I were in the market for a plow, I know the first company I would call. Likewise, if someone asks me about a snowplow I will recommend they try Arctic.”
Arctic Equipment Manufacturing helps to sponsor the Harvey Lennox Memorial bonus for the ISMA Supermodifieds at Canadian tracks such as the Delaware and Jukasa Speedways. ISMA has events in Canada on June 15, July 13, and August 17.
ISMA’s first show of the 2019 season is slated for Saturday, June 15 when the Harvey Lennox Memorial will take place at Delaware Speedway. A full schedule for the year is posted on the ISMA website.
The Arctic Equipment Manufacturing company is located at 35 Artisans Crescent in London, Ontario N5V 5E9. To learn more about Arctic Snowplows, you can visit their website at ArcticSnowplows.com or LIKE Arctic Snow Plows | Chasse Neige on Facebook.

About the International Supermodified Association: ISMA was founded in 1974 by multi-time Oswego Speedway champions Jim Shampine and Nolan Swift to ensure the future and longevity of Supermodified racing. Powered by their earth shaking 900 horsepower engines, the winged Supermodified is one of the fastest short track race cars in the world capable of reaching speeds up to 160mph. Through 45 seasons of operation, ISMA continues to be one of the most popular, well recognized touring series in short track racing. The organization has eleven events scheduled at nine different facilities this season that include stops in New York, New Hampshire, Ohio, Connecticut, and Ontario.
