RACE OF CHAMPIONS ANNOUNCES THREE RACE TQ MIDGET PROGRAM FOR THE 2019 SEASON AT CHEMUNG AND LAKE ERIE

BUFFALO, NY – In 2019 TQ Midget competitors from around the Northeast will have an opportunity to compete in three unique events at two of the Northeast’s top-facilities. Each race will pay a minimum of $500-to-win while giving the competitors an opportunity to earn a Race of Champions championship. When the 2019 Champions are crowned in January they will receive a Champions Helmet, Hoosier Championship Jacket and Sign Board from Pilat Design (Waterloo, NY) honoring their accomplishments.

The three race events will take place on Saturday, June 15 at Lake Erie Speedway; Saturday, August 3 at Chemung Speedrome and as a part of Presque Isle Downs & Casino Race of Champions weekend at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pa., on Saturday, September 28.

The rules give all TQ Midget competitors throughout the Northeast an option to compete in the three race series. VP Racing Fuels C12 and Hoosier Racing Tires MG5 (13-inch cars) and the LC5 (10-inch cars) will be the required consumables in regard to participation in the Series.

The Race of Champions is a sanctioning body presenting Modified and Stock Car racing on asphalt and dirt surfaces throughout the Northeast, with events in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey with primary marketing partners Hoosier Racing Tire, VP Racing Fuels, US Army, Upstate Automotive Group, Waddell Communications, Pilat Graphic Design, TDH Refrigeration, Sherwood Racing Wheels, PavedTrackDigest.com and Speed51.com. The 69th annual Race of Champions weekend will take place in 2019 at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pennsylvania and is the second longest consecutive auto-racing event in North America, second only to the Indianapolis 500.
