OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Speedway Hall of Fame members Soule Racing and driver Ben Seitz are expected to join the field of Novelis Supermodifieds competing in Saturday night’s Twin 35’s presented by Burke’s Do It Best Home Centers and Bosco’s.
A relatively new combination to Supermodified racing, Seitz and Soule competed on the ISMA tour throughout 2018, earning one victory at Thompson to close the season last October.
It has now been more than seven years since the iconic blue No. 32 has competed in an Oswego event and more than a decade since Soule Racing has entered a regular Saturday night Novelis Supermodified program.
Seitz is a Supermodified veteran, having spent several seasons in the ISMA ranks. He has eight feature wins to his credit including one at Oswego Speedway, which came in the 2010 running of the Bud Light ISMA Supernationals.
Names including team owner Danny Soule, along with Ken Bell, Nokie Fornoro, Bobby Santos and most recently Tim Jedrzejek have all driven for Soule Racing at Oswego. Seitz will join that list in his first ever Oswego Super start this Saturday.
Soule Racing has also signed the No. 32 Supermodified up for ‘Fast Friday’ testing on June 7 from 4 to 8pm. Jeff Abold, Otto Sitterly, Dave Danzer, Keith Shampine, Dave Shullick Jr, and Tyler Thompson include other Supermodifieds signed up as of Monday afternoon.
To purchase tickets for Oswego’s jam packed June 8 show featuring Twin 35-lap Novelis Supermodified features plus full programs for the Pathfinder Bank SBS and Sunoco New York Super Stock Series, please call the box office at (315)-342-0646.
